  • What is a Clearance?
    A Clearance is a Criminal Record Verification report that confirms whether you have a criminal record or not.
  • What do I need in order to register for SACE?
    E-mail us, we will reply with information documents.
  • If I have a studied in Zimbabwe, can you register me?"
    No, SACE does only accept applications from most education institutions in South Africa.
  • What if I do not have or lost my Matric Certificate?
    You will have to apply at a cost for a duplicate Matric Certificate with the Department of Education www.education.gov.za SACE will not approve a SACE application if you do not have a Matric Certificate.
  • Is TEFL and ECD qualification acceptable by SACE?
    We have experienced registration problems at SACE with these qualifications. We prefer that clients with these qualifications rather visit the SACE office themselves.
  • What is my SACE has expired years ago?
    You will have to visit the SACE website on www.sace.org.za Log in with your IDto confirm the outstanding amount, pay it and send with your SACE documents to us
  • Do I require a valid Clearance when applying for SACE?
    Yes, you do need a valid Clearance not older than 3 months.
  • How long does a SACE Application take?
    The current lead time at SACE is 30-60 Days for a 1st Registration and 30-90 Days for a Renewal/Final Application.
  • If I go to the to the Huru Fingerprint Location to capture my prints, what is needed?"
    It is a walk-in services, you kindly request the assistant to capture your fingerprints. If you want to go on a Saturday, confirm beforehand that this service will be available. PLEASE TAKE YOU ID WITH YOU. Payment for this service will be made by All CrimClear.
  • Do I need to pay annual fees to SACE?
    Yes, annual fees are payable to SACE. Kindly contact SACE on 012 663 9517 directly to confirm what the annual fees are.
  • What happens if have a Criminal Record?
    We will receive your Criminal record by means of a SAPS 69 which indicate type of infringement. You will have to visit your nearest SAPS to enquire how to clear your name.
  • How long is a Criminal Clearance valid?
    6 Months
  • Will it be the quickest to get my SACE certificate through you or to go to SACE directly?
    It would be quicker to go directly to the SACE office. 150 Applicants are allowed at SACE in Centurion per day, other SACE offices have post boxes where you can deposit your application. We are the back-up if you do not want to visit the SACE offices.
  • Is it necessary to certify documents?
    Yes, SACE will not accept your application if documentation has not been certified.
  • How long is certified documents valid?
    3 Months
  • Which format does documentation need to be scanned to All CrimClear?
    Documents needs to be scanned in PDF Format as SACE only accepts documentation in PDF.
  • How long does it take before a Criminal Report Verification result are available?
    Depending on the package that you select. Standard: 24-48 hrs Premium: 5 hrs Priority: 2 hrs
  • Can I register for SACE if I do not have a Teaching qualification?
    No, SACE will not accept your application if you do not have a Teaching Qualification.
  • How long will my SACE Registration be valid?
    A Provisional SACE Registration is valid for 1 year and Final SACE Registration is permanent.
  • What Academic Record will be acceptable to SACE?
    SACE Requires the Academic Record that is on the University Letterhead, signed by the Registrar, it must also stamped and dated.
  • What is SACE?
    SACE is the abbreviation for the South African Council of Educators. According to law, all people involved in education in the RSA must be SACE registered.
